It is made exclusively for absinth-century.com, so you cannot get it anywhere else.
As you might know these days King of Spirits GOLD is the only 100 mg absinth available. But that cannot really be called absinth. Its extreme, very bitter in taste, and some say, it is undrinkable. The price of 180 US$ for a bottle ? It is not fair to our customers, to spend so much money for a nearly undrinkable "herb-mixture".
So what is the "Century" absinthe?
- It is made in Czech Republic
- it has 55% alcohol, so it is very smooth to drink
- Even with 100 mg Thujon, it is really drinkable
- It is made according to an old absinthe recipe (100 mg) that was never produced commercially, but some samples still exist !
- It is a big 0.75 ltr. bottle
- The anise/licorice flavor is kept low, but it still has anise/licorice
The Absinthe Century was made exclusively for absinth-century.com as a little gift to our customers to avoid the need to spend 200 US$ for a bottle of King GOLD and of course to get an absinthe that has a good effect combined with a nice flavour !
